After months of invigorating debates, bombshell news stories, and spirited rallies, it’s hard to believe that it’s actually time to head out to the polls and vote for your favorite candidate. Whether you are firmly decided or still on the fence, the real Election Day decision is what to wear when casting your ballot. While here at Yizzam we are always ones to break the rules of fashion, voting booth attire is a pretty big deal and should be respected. In fact, in some states, what you were to the voting booth could determine whether or not you are even allowed to vote! In 1992 the Supreme Court created “campaign-free” zones at polling places and 100 feet around them. Meaning, no shirts or apparel (in some states, even pins!) pointing to a particular candidate.
